This is a digital remake of my spray painted version from a while back. I wanted to do a kanji take on it. I’m hopeful that I got the “Douche” term correctly translated. I wanted the slang version of it. If I didn’t get it right please let me know!
I woke up the other day to some very angry twitter messages from #jenniedelicious. She hated my “Occupy Cocktail” art and was sure that it would cause mass violence if people even laid their eyes upon it. When one of her followers said he didn’t like the piece either but free speech trumps all. She replied back with, “#douchebagsMUSTlose”. I’ve been called a lot of names in the past, but never a douche. I was thinking about how you are what a person perceives you as and nothing more, so I made a self portrait of myself for Jennie Delicious. Hopefully she likes it since it’s all for her!
